the emoticon face thing is hard to define, since pokemon like bellossom and azumarril teeter on it. i tried to limit it to pokemon where it looks pasted on (corsola, togetic) or is especially emoticon-y (wobbuffet, hitmontop)
and before somebody yells at me, the mantine markings are eye shapes on its back which are rarely seen. mantyke has similar marking on its back, and in mantyke's case it's a literal smiley face.
