What kind of Pokemon game is this? Out of all the Pokemon games I've played, this is by far the most insulting for a vetern player. All I want to do is to play online and destroy kiddies with my 6IV Superbred Pokemon.

Honestly, what the fuck was GF thinking when they made this shit? Its nice they're trying to introduce a story of some kind, and I'm not even expecting that story to be 10/10. But fuck, why does the rest of the game have to suffer for this? You can still make environments that players need to explore to get to the story, and its not like ADHD ridden children are going to sit through that shit or even be engaged by it. From what I can tell, the people who really liked SM's story are anime-fans (Not the Pokemon-anime. just anime in general) because it's basically a bad anime plot, or waifu fags who really liked Lillie despite her basically ruining the game. I digress though. Plot-driven JRPGs aren't something new and skippable cutscenes have been the genre norm since the PS2 era. I think that GF is severally underestimating children's intelligence when it comes to video games and finding out secrets. My brother loves the zombies mode in CoD, and finds crazy ass secrets I wouldn't even think were hidden in the map. The game doesn't need to be so brain-dead for kids to like it. It just needs to be rewarding when it counts. Kids love being gratified for every action they make in video games. Its the reason so many triple-a titles are basically psuedo-RPGs now because its super easy to reward XP at every turn for something.

I can agree on Pelago, Alola Forms, Pokeride and maybe Island Scan, but refresh is just amie without minigames, Rotom Dex is annoying as fuck, Z-moves are just improved gen 5 gens with a crazy ass long animation, Festival Plaza is a worst join avenue and PSS at the same time.

Poketch had tons of features but not all of them were that useful and the UI was shit.

Festival Plaza is getting fixed in USUM and is getting a UI similar to the PSS. I loved Z-moves and they are getting a lot more in USUM.

SM´s story-line about the a guy who just wants to be a captain and is used by a mulitmillion pokemoney ceo, who say that they are for the pokemon with the legendary not beeing a ancient god and the plottwist beeing that it was always a tiny little creature, is much much much much much better than:

Team Flare was a complete joke and the biggest evidence for it is Malva, who has stronger pokemon than her boss and is a e4 never even baits an eye to battle you. Not even fucking once.

The only and I mean only stupid thing about guzma is literally the same fault they did with giovanni. You battle him way too much and defeat him, which makes him not beeing menacing at all.

They're both 100% linear. X/Y's exploration is absolutely nothing, the biggest area in the game was the copy and paste of Viridian Forest at the beginning.
