It helped that the first time I really noticed this song, I was on an amazing roll in the dungeon I was in, I was considerably underpowered for the dungeon, and was basically surviving by way of an Emery set-up centered around abusing extra turns and massive damage output and hoping nothing ever survived to hit me back. And I was alone.

I was taking a break from Pokemon at the time in an attempt to grow up and start drifting away from childhood things. It went pretty well for all of 2016, but one day around this year I felt bored and decided to listen to Pokemon music. I saw this song on Youtube while browsing for music, and my curiosity got the better of me. After listening to it, I wanted to pick up a copy of Sun and play the games again before I'm finally done with the series. Granted, it wasn't a good game, but that song alone helped me like the series again.

especially the last, sun and moon's wild battle theme is criminally underrated.
