>Original third version introduced the Battle Frontier>Dual version remakes cut it completely and replace it with the Mason that didn't exist in the originals then tease the original facility everyone was expecting and never actually delivered It's a simple matter of getting more when it wasn't expected versus getting less when it was. Looking at it as re-purposing facilities based on what generation each remake came out in is missing the point. HG/SS could have come out without lifting Pt's Frontier and it wouldn't have mattered since it wasn't there in the first place.
I'm not saying HG/SS are flawless. It seems like GF wanted to add more good stuff than fix all of the original flaws to overshadow the latter. I found ORAS enjoyable without the Frontier but it's easy to see where the animosity towards ORAS's postgame facility comes from given its original third version started the Frontier in the first place.
