Absolutely based. My oldest transferrable starter is a Sceptile, he's been with me through thick and thin. Absolutely my favorite Pokemon, I just wish he was as good in comp as he is in Pokken and Mystery Dungeon.

I used to have such a hard time deciding between snorlax and politoed. I eventually chose snorlax with politoed making a close second.

Sceptile. Noivern's my favorite and I don't want to share.

I'd say Noivern's more appealing because its moveset is crazy-wide and fun to play with, and it's pretty good in-game. Noibat is frail and takes a while to evolve, but it can hold its own if you let it.

Sceptile's great in game and has a very wide moveset as well... just only on the physical side. Plus it invented Leaf Blade, which is great. And of course Sceptile has the better design

I settled on a favorite pokemon but then that changed. You can have a favorite pokemon now but you are not forced to keep it. New pokemon are introduced all the time.

There is no pressure. Just make a list of your top favorites. Try to find which one is you favorite right now. There is no urgency to have just one either, although it is comforting.
