I could understand if they tried to tackle the "God mon" a dozen or so gens into the series, but seriously? As soon as you start making stories about powerful monsters, you start with continent shaping and then jump straight to "God?" They could have pulled it out over many gens; they new gen 3 was the start of something big, and yet they jumped the shark the very next games (and lazily too, with a recycled plot from the previous gen!)
Arceus, the Creation trio, and Sinnoh as a whole are a blight to the franchise and should be ignored, and only kept for the Pokémon involved and some underwhelming remakes one year.
