I'm part of this hate club now. I followed him on Twitter after SM's release and at first I didn't understand the hate. Then USUM were announced, and god fucking damn did he turn into a fucking annoying prick. He literally can't accept the fact that some people don't find every tiny fucking thing Gamefreak introduces fantastic. He runs fucking defence force on everything.

That's a nice way to generalize the massive surge of FUCKING NOTHING REEE that's been going around the past several months. Am I damage control defense force because I'm also annoyed at seeing Groudon plastered all over /vp/'s catalog?

Of course it is. And even then he is open about the stuff Nintendo and Gamefreak does that he doesn't like. He's very open about not liking the Mystery Dungeon games.

People dislike him because god forbid you report things about a game that's mainstream. 4chan, especially /vp/ has an extreme secret club mentality. It's almost bad as /mlp/ where they legitimately think MLP FIM was made for them and not the intended demographic.

I know how /vp/ can be, but even then; it just seems to me like he could be easily ignored. Sure he created Serebii, which is a pretty big deal, but that doesn't exactly make him any more or less important than most other publicly active members of the Pokemon community. Then again, that's just my take on it. I guess I'm expecting too much.

This quote was taken out of context and people said he did this, but he didn't. What he really did was get a rom that was uploaded early. Not upload a rom early. He got a C&D for this type of stuff and hasn't done it since.
