>Kiawe's new trial takes place in Thrifty Megamart. He couldn't get off his shift so he improvised. You must help the shoppers by picking out which of 3 items is discounted from its base price the most. He then sends you to Wela Volcano and you battle Totem Marowak.
>Kahili has an unofficial trial at Ten Karat Hill (she is no longer a captain.) She has you help recover golf balls stolen by various Pokémon, leading to Totem Toucannon.
>Totem Ninetales and Totem Sandslash are version exclusive. They have no trial, just ambush you at the Icium Z.
>Elesa opens a boutique at Royal Avenue, and battles you. After winning, you can buy clothing from past games there, with each day stocking a different region. BW clothes are exclusive to Ultra Sun, BW2 to Ultra Moon.
>Kahili's dad, named simply "Mr. Hano," asks you to help entertain the guests at the Grand Resort after she tells him about battling you. This functions similarly to the Battle Chateau in X and Y, but the ranks are now guest tiers at the hotel denoted by stars. The famous trainers are included in this, with some new ones - the video will show Grimsley, Dexio, Sina and Colress, but also Giovanni, Bianca, Steven and Zinnia. The ultimate goal seems to be getting five stars and defeating the unidentified "Hotel Champion" to win the penthouse.
