Postgame meme needs to end, Oras has a lot of entretaining stuff in the main game.
Kanto in gen 2 was a mistake, imo their are the fun part in those games, but having to play the whole fucking game before reaching there...

Yeah I really like HM-enabled exploration
I know most people dislike them but I think they're the best way to gate progression

B2W2 are the best Pokemon games, but calling them a perfect blend is wrong. The amount of handholding and dialogue that happens is still too much. Not near as bad as XY and SM but it's still bad. Near perfect quality is a bit exaggerated for HGSS because of the awful level scaling, but honestly everything else is just so good I can't bring myself to lower them.

No it's not. Adding ANYTHING positive to an already finished game makes technically makes it better. It's not hard. Those third version directors are basically just directing DLC. They're not directing full functional games.

He's got an okay track record, with BW Unova being the biggest blemish. His experience with Battle System Design the past two games is the main thing that leaves me hopeful for a decent Battle Facility, like Morimoto being Battle Director for most titles.

He also did UI Design for BW if I recall.

I won't judge Ohmori until we see him work on another game. He had the misfortune of working on a quick cashgrab remake and a game that was obviously pushed out the door half-finished for the anniversary. He definitely has a lot of good ideas when he has time to actually implement them.
