>>33830530I've been playing through Blue lately. Did the Trainer Glitch to have an OP team, but it made too many NPCs and items disappear, so I started a new game. This is what I'd say is wrong off the top of my head.
>Infinite Wrap if you're faster>Massive level gaps between learning moves >Skimpy movepools in general>Focus Energy LOWERING Crit rate>Psychic being OP>Psychic resisting Ghost>Speed crits>Special being one big stat so it makes certain Pokemon more OP than necessary>Bug and Poison having cross weakness>Fighting type having maybe 3 moves>Having to enter and exit the PC constantly when looking at different Pokemon>The bag stinks>Damage being based on the secondary type so for example Charizard was x2 weak to ice attacksIt did a lot of things right, honestly.
>Laid a foundation that was improved on exponentially>Decent spread and selection of Pokemon throughout game>Access to good TMs like Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Rock Slide, Psychic by the time you hit the midpoint of the game>Trainers levels decently through game>Not too much handholding>Learning tidbits out the story talking to random NPCs like about the Pokemon League and Team Rocket>>33832852Rhydon, Arcanine, and Exeggutor have shit for movepools. Works out for you because your team would be pushing mid 50s by that point, anyway.
One thing I hated about X and Y was how there are like 10+ Pokemon on every route and how most of the newer Pokemon have abysmal appearance rates. It's like they didn't learn shit from Johto.
