about to play gen 5. which game would be optimal to start with? also, are the starters worth keeping or should I just box them?

if you care about story, 1. if not, go on to 2.

starters are good except for snivy. tepig can solo the game and oshawott is ok because there are few good water types

if you are going to play BW and then BW2, start with White.
If you are going to play only 1 of them, White 2.
Box the starters. None of them are worth using.
