Literally every RPG has a better story than Pokemon. Better characterization, better tone, better etc.
I play Pokemon because I like commanding a team of retards to beat up other retards. I like the monster capturing and monster taming aspect of the game. I don't want to see Gamefreak haphazardly try and tell us a story. Either let us skip the cutscenes/dialogue dumps or hire/contract someone who can tell a story.
