If you want to quickly EV train use SOS battles. Pelago is for lazy fucks who can't be bothered to figure out the faster way, just like super training was for people who couldn't be bothered with hordes.

If you have not updated your Sun/Moon, you can still use the Pelago glitch to get max EVs and hatch eggs in 1 minute.

Even if you updated you can just delete the patch and download again once you're done training all mons you wanted.

Or use a second 3DS without the patch like I do.
