For the record, I'm fine with evolution methods as they are (even the ones that are total bullshit like having to trade 2 specific 'mons for each other, just to get the evolution of the other) but I also love the regional adaptations, it makes the Poké World presented in-game as a living breathing thing. The climate is proper for Execcutor to reach it's full potential, the rats adopted the night and were accepted by it, what was once pure poison and worthless has now turned into a useful creature. Give me more shit like that, pokémon adapted to the region other than the one they were introduced in, with re-typings and colouring as appropriate (fighting type Seviper mixing it up with a ground type Zangoose? Bring it.)
