Honestly there's quite a few good ones. Maxmoefoe has a channel that's more about the cards.
Jwittz has interesting Pokemon stuff but is more of a "Nintendo tuber" then Pokemon now.
And candievie (spelling?) Makes a grab bag of content.

It's just a loud autistic few that make em all look bad

Im more confused as to why people actually like watching those, shiny hunts, nuzlockes, randomizer shits. How is that even content. Competitive content (especially vgc) is the only thing worth watching really.

Nuzlocks are interesting in the same way any sort of challenge run is interesting I suppose. I personally don't get it because you could hypothetically just power level your starter on the first route for a million years and be on your way.

2015 ended with a single team, and 2016 had a period in the middle where everybody used Big 6, but diverged towards the end.

If you really think 2014, Worlds 2016 or 2017 are "identical teams" you haven't paid any attention.

Besides that the top meta barely has any bearing on what's used on WiFi.

In that case it's more interesting to just run the game at extremely low levels and just ditch the nuzlocke rules. Nuzlocke is entirely dependent on luck to remain interesting. Either you pull through against impossible odds and it makes a cool story, or you lose through incredible bullshit and it makes a good story. Otherwise it's just a boring old playthrough where the player may or may not feel inclined to grind.

I met Duncan at worlds a few years ago, he's a nice guy. I think he mistook me for somebody else though, since he seemed excited to meet me.
He didn't actually qualify for worlds, he was just there to spectate and "report", but most Pokémon YouTubers are like that; good enough to convince their subscribers that they're good, but not good enough to actually win tournaments.

MaxMoeFoePokemon is good to watch because I just like watching people open up card packs, its really satisfying to see someone pull something good
I like JWittz mainly because of his presentation style and touching on subjects related to Pokemon that aren't just based off the cards, anime or games
And does Chuggaaconroy count because while he's a bit autistic, his Pokemon LPs can be quite comfy if he's not being too slow
