It was a fine game but I really don't think you would want to waste your money buy owning both the original and ultra version for some minor updates. There will be a lot of reused stuff in the so called "new game" so you won't miss out much in terms of characters and places etc. And personally, I prefer Pokemon X over Sun/Moon.
Again, personallly for me, I didn't notice any "too much cutscenes" in Sun/Moon. If people wanna talk about cutscenes overused, they should be complaining about Kingdom Hearts.
If you are an adult ain your early 30s perhaps stop playing pokemon and play with a girlfriend or wife instead. If you are an adult/student perhaps try socialising more than being so inept. If you are still below 18 then perhaps it is better not to waste your parents money so easily.
