>>33846464Reddit spacing is a real thing. It's a clear way to identify new posters, who generally post stupid shit that doesn't really need to be posted. The reason people say "lurk moar" is because it's the best way to learn about board etiquette and how to generally contribute positively to the site.
And the issue with phoneposters is that it's difficult to type a well formatted and thought-out argument on a phone's keyboard. So a lot of posts from phones end up being of low quality. Rather than actually contributing to discussion, a lot of phoneposters will just quote a post and write something worthless like "this" or "lel". Phoneposters also have a reputation of asking pointless questions that could easily be answered with a google search or image search, but since that takes a considerable amount of extra effort to do on a phone compared to on a desktop/laptop they just can't be bothered to do it themselves and expect others to do it for them.
Although in this case, there isn't really anything particularly wrong with OP's thread (aside from a spelling error, although it was still clear what he was trying to say). So there wasn't really a need to bring it up here. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people who complain about reddit spacing incorrectly are actually new themselves and just parrot the latest memes to feel like they're a part of something.
