They act like they're some poor indie dev team who doesn't know what they're doing and you should pity them. Like, really? Sure, sure, you're a smallish game company, only like what, 130 people? Something like that. Not like you have the entire might of Nintendo - one of Japan's most valuable companies - and the world's largest media franchise EVER at your back, and not only 20 years (21 now) of experience making this EXACT franchise, but you have also been making games since at LEAST the days of the Sega Genesis! You're telling me that every single person in that company is so retarded that not a one knows that they can outsource anything, be it investigating what people want to play, software development, talent searches, or ANYTHING? They're all so irredeemably ignorant of the outside world that they think that what they're shelling out counts nowadays? They could literally ask Nintendo's CEO to come down and give them advice any day of the week and they don't use ANY of that power because "Haha I don't really know."
They're an insufferable company with insufferable people and every time I think about it too hard it makes me want to never buy one of their games again, among other things. It's like they all have brain tumors and are autistic at the same time.
