ITT: shit that never made sense to you

Bug is commonly touted as the ‘early game’ type and bug pokemon are ‘great for beginners’ by ingame npcs, yet the first gyms in the games are; rock, flying, rock, rock, normal, and bug. I know its more for the ‘they evolve fast’, but that doesn’t mean too much, and in fact usually makes early game bugs 4x weak to rock.
