Since its been confirmed that the main series will be moving over to the switch. How do you think this will affect the series as a whole? What do you think we can expect? Bigger and longer games? Better graphics? Or do you think it will flop?

Nah.

They'll definitely have to change their design philosophy if they want them to be truly successful rather than just relying on their die-hard, "I'll buy any Pokemon game" fans. The Switch is leaps and bounds ahead of the 3DS in terms of power and everyone knows it. If the new games are underwhelming compared to Switch mainstays like BotW and Odyssey people will shit on them, and rightfully so.

They haven't "confirmed" that at all, they said that USUM will be the last main games on the 3DS.

Kimishima has been talking about a successor to the 3DS.

The games will be the same as Sun/Moon but have higher quality textures on the models. It will still have excessive cutscenes and handholding. It will still have a dull region. It will still have a shit story with generic characters.

I really want to get back into pokemon.
Didn't get ORAS, SM, and probably won't get USUM.
I have a switch and a 3ds, but it's the older model and I really don't want to waste anymore money on handheld systems.
Just going to focus on games for my switch.
