The question is, do you really think Nintendo are just going to abandon the 3DS after 2017/18? I'm pretty sure as long as the eshop is running, they'll release new Virtual Console content on it every now and then to grab some cash.

Stop being delusional. The 3DS is over for new Pokemon RPGs after USUM. Personally, I couldn't give a fuck what system a Pokemon game is on, so I'm not biased towards the Switch or anything, even as the owner of one. But yeah, don't expect DP remakes on the 3DS now, even in your wildest dreams.

I personally wanted DP remakes on the 3DS, but I'm rational, and the news today made me disregard that desire.
