This game is mistreated badly. It has some bad decisions in it, such as being the easiest main game to beat with awfully made pokémon sets in the campaign and the broken exp.share, your friends interrupting you, the lack of postgame and pretty much showing signs of not being a full finished game.

But for what it did good around 2013, it was great.

>the biggest pokedex ever, which allowed more replayability
>it brought the 3d models, which was a new breath after all these years
>megas, that in most cases saved the pokemons, pretty much made the entire fanbase wish for their favorite pokémon to get one, players made their own megas, it was like the fever again with fakemons but much bigger
>wonder trade
>gts allowing you to search any pokémon, which in previous gen you need the registered pokémon on the pokédex
>it streamlined breeding, which allowed everyone to get into
>best online interaction from all games
>friend safari estimulated the players to interact and add each other
>you could easily grind to any level you wanted
>comfy as fuck soundtrack

There's probably more good and bad stuff. XY is not the best game at all, but if you were playing around that time, you know it was fun.

ORAS and SM can choke on a dick for ruining everything.
