it turned out ok, Blunder put out a vid that introduced me to tapu koko + nature power mega scept to bait celesteela, so I'll just turn it into one of those. In the meantime, it's my planned starter for USM.

I play Pokemon at least 300 hours a year and from 2010 to 2017 I didn't get a single one (I don't hunt for them), but when I played Silver VC last month I got 3 shinies nearly back to back in the same week. Rattata at the early game, Venonat in the National Park, and a Geodude later.
I really have no fucking idea what happened.

Not exactly a shiny story but I remember catching a Timid HP ice zapdos in Soul silver in a fast ball on my 2nd attempt without a synchronise mon and on the first ball. Good RNG.

No idea how many eggs I hatched but god damn I have never experienced this before. I usually get a shiny after a day or two. Took me about a week to breed a shiny Eevee for my gf, but that's the longest ever.
