>>33864951The most important thing is just being in contact with people. If you never meet anybody, you're never gonna make friends. If you talk to people online, you can make online friends. If you have a job, you can make work friends. Seriously, just regular contact with human beings is the most important factor.
Now if you have that, through school or work, but are still having trouble that's a different story. I assume you're just too nervous to actually strike up a conversation. This is understandable. But whatever your interests, there are people out there who share them. Try going to something where you'll be forced to talk and interact with people a little. That shared interest will make things a lot easier and you can take it from there.
