>>33867282I'm not gonna do full type charts for these, as adding new types would also require to change the interaction between already existing types. So I'm just gonna give some examples of type interactions instead. I'm also not gonna comb the entire National Dex for a full list of Pokémon that would fit each type, so I'll just name the most obvious ones.
Acid type
A type that is to Poison what Rock is to Ground. Unlike Poison, it is super effective against Steel types, normal against Fairy, and resisted by Water ( which Poison should be super effective against).
>Bellsprout>Weepinbel>Victreebel>Gulpin>Swalot>Guzzlord>UB AdhesiveMushroom type
Because it makes sense. In real life, mushrooms have NOTHING to do with plants whatsoever, and are in an entire kingdom all to themselves. It would be super effective against Psychic and Grass (which should be tweaked), and be resisted by Fairy.
>Paras>Parasect>Shroomish>Breloom>Foongus>Amoongus>Morelull>ShiinoticCrystal
Another counterpart type. This being a Sp. Def counterpart to Steel. It just makes not fucking sense for Pokémon like Carbink, Diancie (Mega Diancie especially), and Minior Core to be weak to Water and Grass. Instead, they should be a strong type, one that resists the elementals and boasts high Sp. Def (being reglective and all). Resists Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, Psychic, Ghost, and Light (if applicable).
>Staryu>Starmie>Mega Steelix>Suicune>Sableye>Clamperl>Spoink>Grumpig>Dialga>Boldore>Gigalith>Carbink>Diancie>Minior CoreAura type
A type that represents everything spiritual. The soul, the spirit, the aura that so many Pokémon seems to interact with. Kinda another counterpart type, being the fantasy variant of Psychic.
>Latias>Latios>Riolu>Lucario>Azelf (with Uxie staying Psychic and Mesprit going Fairy)>Xerneas>Yveltal>Zygarde>Cutiefly>RibombeeAlso, I really want to do a Cyber type and a Plasma type too, but I can't name 5+ Pokémon for those types.
