Why Gamefreak and TPC think that Squirtle and Bulbasaur fans don't exist or don't care?
These two group of people are always get shafted in favor of Charizard since Pokemon was a thing.
Rebooting Ash's journey to exclude Bulbasaur and Squirtle for 2 furryfag mons made it clear that they have no respect or shame at all. even when it's a movie to celebrate 20th anniversary of pokemon they fucked up those people who like these two starters and grew up with them during the first season for no good reason.
