Actually cycled through a couple mono teams on that run, trying to find one that fit. Started with Ground, which was... easier than I'd realized. Kind of a hindsight moment to realize that Ground boasts a surprising amount of solid pokes. It was a bit too easy, and I swapped for mono ghost. That was... a bit too one note. Maybe a consequence of the romhack's design, or maybe gen 4 just didn't have much diversity for ghost moves, but it was very same-y.
So mono-normal. A lot of surprising bros- I've never used Kanghaskhan or Spinda, and Persian was breaking necks and cashing checks all day long.
