He takes the Oshawott anyway, throwing off his team balance and incidentally I've just realized that your three rivals have the Unova starters so this was done literally for that reason and that reason alone. And the REALLY shitty part is that they tease you and imply you'll get the Oshawott twice - not just when you first see it, but also when Cain tries to leave it behind.Also pic related is his trainer sprite. It's hideous, as you can see, and if you play or watch the game, you'll see it's pretty much the norm for Reborn.
