>>33872572i mean if you compare pokemon Red to Sun/moon i'd say they're on to something.
I have to admit i love the idea of an open world adventure with buddy pokemon
where they focus on perfecting the core features of the pokemon games, but yet i'd also say they've tweaked the ancient formula a fair bit... Anyway, if i were to set expectations for a brand new pokemon game on a console like the switch i'd say
Make the region more open, perfect the core features of the game series
>Amazing cityscapes, >insane looking gyms with actual puzzles, (i'd say b/w nailed this) the last 2 generations barely even have puzzles, all you need to do is count the amount of trainers you beat to get to the leader. >Puzzles in the open world, remember the Regi Trio when you finally made it underwater to the big room and had no idea how to read braille? Good feature. The shuffleboards in Ruins of Alph, nice stuff, Tin Tower maze is amazing. We want subtle puzzles like this, it's what makes the games good.
Pretty much it!
Big and good cities, open amazing routes and worlds, subtle overworld puzzles and actually hallenging gyms in every aspect.
make it happen damnit.
