Charizard "sleeping" is dumb when Ritchie never even made an attempt to battle at all and just stood there watching, as if status infliction (sleep power etc.) is grounds for a disqualification inherently. You would have an argument if Charizard flew away ala Blaine, but it never "refused" to battle in the first place, it was Ritchie's Pikachu that stopped.
