Should gamefreak stick to megas and z move a little longer or do you want another gimmick for the switch game ?

I'd prefer if they didn't add any more gimmicks and just focused on refining the main gameplay. Huge cities, amazing gyms, engaging stories, etc.
Definitely incorporate Z-Moves and Megas at some point, but I'd be okay with them being just post-game.

So i'm just gonna tell you my honest opinion and say

it's been fun and all... but for gods sake abandon this ship before it's too late.
I like Z moves
i like Megas.

but for fucks sake don't take this to the next level, i'm not ready for it.

I despise motion controls but I still think it'd be neat if there was some gimmick activated by detaching the Joy-Cons. Like a first-person attack based on the Pokemon's type and your waggling?

No, serious. Why not?
Mega exclusive Z-Moves need to happen. Especially on Pokemon who change type like Ampharos or Altaria.

Ideally, they should expand on the existing gimmicks they have so they aren't half-baked and forgotten until Kalos/Alola Remakes.
Realistically, they're going to completely ignore them for Yet Another Gimmick aside from hamfisting Mega Stones and Z-Crystals into every single game because they can't retcon anything aside from BSTs and Pokemon Types.

Fusions seem likely, we've already been there with Kyurem and Necrozma. Makes sense to give certain Pokemon the ability to fuse with each other. And you could have fusion battles instead of double battles, it'd be pretty neat.

Keep Mega's and give more Gen 2,4,5,6 pokemon them.

Drop Z-Moves. Horrible gimmick and does make CP less fun.

Regional forms are alright. But please better designs.
