Well, to be fair, Sinnoh needs it way more than Hoenn did. Gen 3 games were already good, while gen 4 was raw sewage all the way through, and Sinnoh is the worst-designed region in the entire series. Maybe this time around they can make it passable.

The real problem is that they were released in Gen 6 rather than Gen 5. Hoenn remakes on the Gen 5 DS engine would have been so much better than what we got
