>>33877506I mean, I still don't think that faries were as cancerous as Dragons. Back in Gen 5, you almost HAD to run a steel type and the best dragon was also part ground so even then. Also almost all of them ran a coverage move that could beat whatever weakness they had while also being faster.
The introduction of the Fairy type was not only to shit on dragons, but to even out the dynamic between dragons and steels imho. They're all busted types, but one checked the other more. Faires made the balance actually work. So while you still have to run a dragon steel or fairy, the scales aren't as tipped in a certain types favor.
