Elemental Fangs are barely more powerful than Hidden Power yet they are the only thing a lot of Pokemon have for coverage. There are even some unfortunate physically-oriented shitmons who have one of these as most powerful physical STAB.

How would you fix them?

Buff their power by and or their accuracy by 5. There's not really any reason for them to be less accurate than the punches.

there is, elemental fangs can inflict both status and flinch
elemental punches can only inflict status

But most mons outside of PU do, which makes it painful when GF releases shitmons like Avalugg who have 120 base Attack but their most powerful STAB is Ice Fang

That hardly justify a difference of 10BP
Just make them 70BP 95Acc, which is still weaker than the punches.
Besides, most mons that learn them have other coverage moves. This probably benefits like 5 mons.

Punches should be come 85 BP. Never understood why the punches were notably weaker than their special variants.
