"wave length" or something, thus the UB categorization and the uniform beast boost ability. Maybe a regular Rattata would behave like an UB if it was somehow transported to another Ultra Space.
Maybe there's no real difference between Humans and Pokemon, they are just life forms from different ultra spaces. Maybe humans came to the Pokemon World ages ago, and both species learned to co exist. Humans all have the same ability.. just like UBs.
