No, I don't think anyone here seriously thought that Pokémon WOULDNT end up on the Switch. Especially considering Pokémon has always been a portable franchise and Nintendo's new console just happens to be a hybrid portable system.
Anyone who didn't think it would was just meming, but I can't blame people from not wanting it on the Switch already since no games for Switch, hard to get a hold of, needs another purchase, etc.
