Its design doesn't indicate it's going to have much in the way of attack power. That means Beast Boost is basically useless. It's only hope is for a decent HP stat. The absolute best case scenario is physical tank with recovery, but it's likely going to be a mixed wall with no recovery and low hp.

Here's what I think they were going for all these years:

Someone wanted to make a Rock/Steel tank. Gamefreak agreed, but they always took half-measures thinking it might be overpowered. They didn't think the weaknesses would be a huge deal so they held back with the recovery they gave these things, and movepools, and other stats and such. Over the years they realized each one they made sucked. So, they decide this time "Fuck it. We were wrong and the typing is causing it to completely suck no matter WHAT we do. These UB's offer is an opportunity. Let's make one that is the literal archetype we've been trying to make viable all along. Max out all of its defensive stats at the cost of everything else. Give it recovery. Give it tools. In fact, even its design will be a fucking wall. If this doesn't work, nothing will save this typing."

I feel this is their last real attempt to get it to work. And they're gonna go all out with this thing.

Me too. I find it sad people are still trying to apply the usual pokemon statting logic to it's typing and design. Like, Nihilego is a rock type. THE slowest type in the game on average. and it has 103 speed. Guzzlord looks like it should be stronger/more defensive, but instead it's a glorified Wailord. Normal rules do not apply to Ultra Beasts, and no one seems to quite grasp that yet.

So what does Assembly's design say about it?
Well, lots of little pieces swarming around to form a whole tower, constantly moving, shifting, spinning. Those pieces are covered in unblinking eyes. It's got oddly long legs for a tower.
Also, it's massive.

I'm expecting high HP (BIG), medium speed (constant shifting, long galloping legs), medium high special attack (creepy eyes) and high physical defense (it's a literal wall).

So maybe 127/67/113/107/67/89

Might be split over both defenses, but I don't wanna redo the math to make them all prime and add to 570.

Not exactly true. It's Aggron, with more emphasis on attack than defense this time, even worse special stats, most of its coverage moves like Avalanche, Aqua Tail, Aerial Ace, and Elemental Punches missing, and 40 more BST.

Not sure whether that change is good or bad. It'll die to a single focus miss or earth power. But Hall of Origin help anything that doesn't do that exact thing, because then they just die.
8 resists, 2 of them quad, 1 immunity plus immunity to toxic. With Rhyperior's physical bulk except it hits like Primal Groudon.

dumb anon. With 15 immunities coupled with a 570 BST, it'd be UU at the very least wiht a good niche in OU being able to switch into the vast majority of the sweepers in the tier.

Ok, so what is the best HP to defenses ratio? Shuckle's ludicrous defenses don't mean much with 20 HP, and Guzzlord shows that massive HP doesn't make up for crap defenses either.
