This honestly seems great too me. I plan on taking commerative photos after each trial and big story events. I have a Pokemon I've used on my party since BW1 and I have most of the ribbons from all the games since. Now in addition to ribbons signifying all the things me and my mon have been through I'll have these commemorative photos too.

I'm sorry that this isn't competitive enough for you but honestly I could see myself spending a lot of cumulative time using this feature throughout the course of the adventure.

But besides one brief forced use of each, they are entirely optional. Unlike cutscenes, which for the people who dislike them, are a constant annoyance until the credits.

I'm thinking of possible poses, considering you can pinpoint exact moments of an action. Incineroar's roaring pose at its furthest back point, behind the MC at the lowest point of the Ground Z Move dance, would be a pretty good one. I think I'm going to have fun with this feature.

if one feature is shit like the pikefinder then obviously,actually the pokefinder it's a prime example for one thing discussed here

Following mons = not competitive feature that has many supporters and was done with the hard work of creating a lot of sprites from zero except a small number from Dpp

Pokefinder: Not competitive and also a shitty feature with almost no content even with all the walking Pokemon animations also it works like shit on a real 3ds

Pkefinder was great idea but very limited to be fun, it gets repetitive very quickly and all the unlockable features should have been default except the last one,There's a very small number of spots too and finally instead of expanding it they replaced it with this wich kill the whole snap feel,not only that they had a perfect of idea of what to do thanks to snap yet no way to interact with them like apples or pesterballs and a very limited number of mons even with all animations already done

Following Mons it's obviously not fun but it's a good example of a features for kids that was hard to make due to all the unique sprites only to be throw out in GenV
