This type of type combo is only good on something that can kill things quickly. It's the same problem as Magcargo

When I'm in the Battle Tree, I put mine on a team with a Whimsicott (for priority Tailwind). With the added speed and an Assault Vest, Crabominable is actually a very versatile Pokemon to use.

It's (coco)nuts that it doesn't have Hammer Arm AND Ice Hammer. Why just give him the ice equivalent and not the regular form when they're both it's type? It should also have Ice Shard access because boy does it need it.

At least then you've a gimmick trick room dude who constantly makes himself slower and has a priority move to back it up. I think he's forced to use Close Combat for powerful fighting stab right now? Nothing will save that typing defensively though.

I really dont understand why TrickRoomFags don't use it. Besides Ice being bad defensively it is very good offensively and the STAB combination of Crabominable is really good to use

They DO use it. It's a solid TR cleaner in PU. The problem is, Trick Room is gimmicky to pull off, especially in the higher tiers full of fast attackers, because you're wasting a turn to set it up. An auto TR ability for a dedicated setter or two would help Crab, Beheeyem, Drampa, and so many others on these teams.

But that's Marshadow.
Crabomination's STABs are resisted by Alolawak, Fini, Victini, Slowbro, Jellicent, and everything with the same type combo, then maybe some I'm forgetting.

And it's not good ingame either, needing to carry Crabrawler until the final location of the story to get more disappointment than Vikavoltbros.
