And they were both awful.
I ain't buying shit until I see it for myself.
I remember everyone got hyped as fuck to see Red and Blue, yet they didn't do jack shit. Gamefreak has lied to me way too much after XY.

when it's been 3 games (X&Y, ORAS,SuMo) in a row with a consistency of large amounts of disappoinment, yes we have a right to complain

things haven't been good since Gen 5
I personally don't like most of gen 5's pokemon
but they did give us

-156 NEW pokemon
-N
-Hidden grottos with HA pokemon
-desert castle with Volcarona
-Cool story
-decent postgame along with PWT
not to mention leak season was glorious

compare X&Y's 70 new pkm no postgame, ORAS no battlefrontier copy/paste rehash, SuMo 70 new pokes disgusting dancing Z-moves
to gen 5

Oh shit. It’s 4. 4 = 四 = 死 = death. You know Japan and their homophones and puns. Though to be fair, technically Aether isn’t a “team” as they aren’t a “dan”(team/organization/group-yakuza connotations) they are a “zaidan” (literally “money group”, but foundation or corporation would be the best translation cause of the business implication) but then them being an evil team is the pun.

Technically they were legitimately good in SM. The only “evil” people were Lusamine (who was just going crazy) and Faba (who was and is an ass). They still did everything “green” that Lusamine’s dad started the foundation to do, it’s just that during the game the president was having a mental break.
