I recently became a TCG professor during the recent wave of approvals and so far I haven't been able to secure a spot as a judge in my area. I don't have a local scene but there are quite a few within 2 hours drive of me. I've contacted every league/store owner with a sanctioned event and not a single one is in need of one because they all got their own in-house professors.
