Lusamine was a little bit scary, but was still a bit underwhelming. Gladion's Crobat outsped and got a crit acrobatics on Alakazam, so RIP my psychic-type. Hau was slightly more scary, but I managed to get through him without any losses. Time for the league!

SM is near the top of the difficulty list in my opinion. Not the hardest, but it definitely has its share of hard parts (don't underestimate Poni). I'd ORAS is one of the easiest games, even without EXP share.

Its difficult, and the last trainer on Victory Road has 6 Motherfucks, and its an itemless inverse battle, so ghosts wont save you.
You should play the game first just to see how everything is.

well, I wouldn't say 'unnuzlockable', people have completed runs of it. the problem is that it really doesn't like nuzlockes (hell, there's even a Pokemon and area specifically designed to fuck over unprepared nuzlockers). Unless you want to lose a bunch, I'd go with what >>33901277 says and play through the game first.

Tips for Fucking L. Jackson
1. Get an Ubruh (should be available in wonder trade, not sure how nuzlockes restricts those)
2. Make sure it has Sturdy
3. Teach it Detect/Rock Polish/Close Combat
4. Give it a Liechi Berry (found on Route 21)
5. When the first Motherfuck attacks, use Detect
6. When the second Motherfuck attacks, use Rock Polish
7. You now have +1 Attack +2 Speed, since it's an inverse battle it's 2x weak to Fighting, spam Close Combat, if you're feeling unlucky you can use Detect again

Bottom row are in the 40s, almost full wiped on that shitty double battle with Steven.

If I do get a game over i'll proably never do a Swampert-esque pokemon with a 4x weakness again in a nuzlocke. Random grass move anxiety every fight as i'm playing Eccentric Emerald.

ORAS is piss easy, mostly because the level up movesets of mons aren't utter ass anymore, and good TMs are available at good times. Also the bosses are nerfed.

SM are pretty rough. You practically need Exp Share just because there's nowhere worth grinding. No Battle Chateau, no Audino grinding, no VS Seeker, just pain. Major bosses also have full 31IVs and lots of EVs, so they are harder to take down compared to previous games. Also the game is stingy with moves, Return is post-Aether, Surf, Waterfall, Earthquake and Thunderbolt are postgame, the move relearner is right at the League, and Ice Beam is also very late. This fucks up a lot of Pokemon.

1/2 of the Elite Four have been defeated! Acerola was a tiny bit scary with her Palossand and Sableye (Palossand was just intimidating, and Sableye actually almost killed Mimikyu). Kahili was a total pushover. Onto the other half and champion (hopefully).

Pokemon Clover has some balancing issues that can easily be abused, there is a grass/fire pokemon that has access to both spore and shell smash, one of the fossil pokemon has poison type extreme speed, and various other things like that

Horsea died because its apparently impossible to train. How can a water type not kill a fire type? By being SHIT!
Replaced it with Lapras, who is brought in with a STACKED moveset. I don't think we have to worry about him all that much.
I really want this wimpod to evolve soon. Its just sat in the back, Hasn't been brought out yet.

Just gave up after 2 wipes of 2 different rom hacks.

Just feels like it's overlevel or die the games. Also feels like an NU or BST lock challenge would end up more fun and more challenging than a locke run. I've gotten exceptionally lucky during both these runs with good teams but the random one shots come out and(because of the hacks) perfect coverage movesets have full wiped me across two different games.

I'm tempted to try a nuzlocke of Volt White though.

Beat the Fire Trial nicely. Lapras did well but I panicked when the poison came out, because I know Venoshock Slandit is a problem. Switched into Dewott who cleared out easily. Dewott is slowly becoming the rising star for this team.
Just clearing out Route 8 of the trainers before I go for the Trial, but I'm think I'm well set for it, with Fletchinder.
Got a few tasty encounters. I currently have my 2 favourite pokemon in the box (Electabuzz and Tauros) and some I want to use (Cutifly, Gible). Fuck the Salandit though. Its Male! D:

Finally got a decent start going on a reasonably randomized Fire Red run. Just beat Brock who had a level 13 Vulpix and a level 15 Ponyta, Oddish was my starter but Jigglypuff Sing into Diglett Magnitude carried, and Diglett critmatter'd Ponyta at the clutch so I'm pretty happy about that. Only thing that died so far is a level 8 Rattata that died scouting the gym's rookie, who had 2 level 11 Charmanders, the second one having higher defense apparently because I underestimated it and Ember rekt it. Getting ready to get some Escape Ropes and head to Mt. Moon.

Randomizations:
Starters are basics with 2 evolutions
Trainers are type-themed with similar strength
Wild Pokemon are similar strength with Area 1-1 matching
Trainer levels are scaled +10%
Gen 1 and related from Gen 2 only
No legends

Mainly just wanted to shuffle things around a bit for diversity's sake.

Nuzlocke rules:
Nicknames
1st encounter on each route
Permadeath
No box
No gift Pokemon
No static Pokemon/Legends
And softcore going to try not to overlevel, which is why I scaled trainer levels a bit.

Moon, kept getting dupes of Jigglypuff and then Spark died to fucking wild Diglett with Arena Trap Jesus Christ what an annoying ability for a wild Ground type with pseudo-Earthquake. I put Taceert in the box. Also, phanphy is one of my favorite Gen 2, so that's fun. I've ended up with a pretty decent spread. Gnikpmup was a great help against Roxanne, although I had to switch out to Xineohp with her nosepass.

Also, 2 pokemon with Pickup. Not going to be hurting for items any time soon.

You actually want to be underleveled and have a good chance of failing? I mean grinding to be like 5 levels higher then the boss fight is just stupid, but being on par is totally fine. Also, if a Pokemon takes a super effective hit and somehow manages to survive it I switch it out, I dont keep it out like an idiot.

Made it to the Indigo Plateau

Not sure if i'm gonna make past the E4 as my team is quite under-leveled so this is probably it. My Muk is more or less dead weight at this point since he's a late addition to my team after losing my Ninetales in the pre Victory Road Rival Battle.

Gonna get something to eat, and finish up this Leaf Green nuzlocke.

Holy shit.
Ended this game journey the way I started it.
Venusaur kept trying to use a plain solar beam on my Dodrio constantly missing when I used fly.
It Finally used Sunny Day and killed Dodrio with a single solar beam but was still at low enough health for Blastoise to kill it off with a Blizzard.

Alakazam was the only other big threat but resorted to Future Sight instead of following through with a second Psychic letting me get a crit second bite on him and taking him out

The rest of my rival's team just fell apart after those two were out of the way

Didn't think i'd make it.
That was crazy

I'm playing a blind run of Sun. I just lost all but my Hariyama to Hau when I made it to Ula'Ula Island. Fucker's raichu spammed psychic and all of my Pokemon had low Sp. Def.

After the masacre that was my battle at the Castelia Gym, I was afraid af of Colress, so I took out Demeter the Petilil and lose her by a Lopunny's crit. Return. Then I went to route 4 and get myself a Cacnea (Artemisa) and trained her until she evolved. With Artemisa and the two remaning survivors I battled against the hot daddy and won. Jemanja and Artemisa almost die by his Porygon2's Tri-attack.

Then I went to Desert Resort and Relic Castle and caught a Hippopotas and Duskull respectively and trained them to level 35. Now I'm going to Nimbasa.

P.S.: There is no official female artwork for Artemisa nor Pachamama.

Well, I have never had a Poochyena survive until the end. Thought I'd go fishing with the old rod, right? Get some easy XP? First thing I fished up was a level 30 Staryu I couldn't escape from. It tore through Droffilc and Doowtsew, and I finally managed to stop it with Xineohp. The Gym didn't even give me that much trouble. Xineohp tore through it, althrough Brawly had some tougher pets than I was expecting. I ended that match with 1 HP after a VERY lucky peck critical. Good times.

Entire cave, as they all have the same name. The only places you see some fudging of that is places like Pinwheel Forest, and Route 1 of Alola (Trainer School, lab, main area is the usual)

Fletchinder next, took down a fair chunk of health. But Trumbeak came in, and proceeded to Rock Blast me. I didn't see that coming. This is only my second time playing these games so there are a lot of new surprises to me.

So that means Electabuzz and Minior come in. 2 Decent pokemon there, and we shall see how this goes now.

I should also have a Popplio and a Poliwag in my box, but I forgot to add them. Next time, maybe
