Currently working on a theory about Ghetsis an some other stuff, gonna wait until USUM just in case, but I can tell: He is the most important villain in the franchise when it come to world-building and lore

But I think the point is that Ghetsis wants to be the only one who can use pokemon, thats like the catholic church killing people and only allowing one kind of interpretation of the reality.

Ghetsis is perfect as a backstabbing cunt because he's the only team boss in the games who's legitimately evil (at least in BW, in BW2 he's just insane). Like Giovanni, he simply wanted to rule the world, but Gio at least had some honor.
Everyone else was just stupid, autistic, drug addicted, or had some crazy ideals that sadly required genocide.

SM burned me so bad. so fucking bad. not a shred of hype hit my soul until this recent potential of past teams being in the game. i want closure on some things if possible.
this is going to be my last pokemon game if it doesnt live up to the amount of fun I had with gen 5 because the track record has been fucking abysmal since then

I can see Judeochristian references in Arceus and Giratina being Yahweh and Lucifer respectively, but 5th Gen trio is inspired on Tao, 6th Gen is inspired in Nordic mithology and I don't see references to Christianity in 7th Gen either

The Tao trio has some alchemy influence in them too.
Gen 5 has plasma being based of masons and the catholic church. Ghetsis is representative of the Pope. He carries a Chi ro with him, just like the pope

I know each region has their own lore and they're almost always independent from each other, but no matter how you think about it the Original Dragons were the creation trio (or Arceus but it doesn't really count)

We don't actually know where it comes from, though. But if its stats are anything to go by (very likely above Arceus, possibly Mega Fug tier) then you'd think it'd be relevant in regards to nature or whatever.

I've heard theories that it would represent plasmatic matter, while the creation trio represents solid, liquid and gaseous matter. I personally take that with a grain of salt, though.
