Hard reset. BW was a step in the right direction, but keeping Ash for the anime was a fuck up. New pokemon only, like 200 of 'em. Fuck your favourites, force the player into the unknown - everyone's used that route 5 shitmon 100 times already, a reskinned shitmon is pointless.
Open world is way too oversaturated and wouldn't work well desu.
Pack a fuckton of little things everywhere, polish everything until it shines. I want to see things that make me go "oh, they actually though of that"
The same game but with a different region and bad team and different skins of the same pokemon is getting really old.
I kinda want forced character designs again too. I'd rather have 6~ really well designed main characters than only 2 that can be customised to look varying degrees of shit.
