Winged Kuriboh is a fluffball, and Yubel is a strange Demon/Dragon. So probably some Fairy/Dark/Dragon types, as well as humanoids to match the E-heroes / Neo Spacians.

I can't think of any ideas right now, even though I really want to.

Hydreigon definitely fits for Yubel.
As far as the basic E-Heroes go, he's got too many of them to fit on one team so you're better off with the fusions. Charizard for Flame Wingman and Alolan Golem for Thunder Giant seem appropriate.
Neos' whole shtick is that it can fuse into a whole bunch of different things, so Protean Kecleon or Greninja could work there.
Winged Kuriboh is Togekiss for sure.
And there's a spot left over so I guess Araquanid can be Bubbleman. Gallade for Bladeedge is also an option.

I wonder if you could do a Light/Dark theme off most of that. Kuriboh, Yubel, Honest, and even a chunk of the hero cards fit. I'm not too sure, though.

There is a build that uses Lonefire/Predaplants to almost guarantee getting one. And one of the Ojama spells gets you out VW pretty easily.

How is he not a good villain? He was foreshadowed, he had a noticeable effect on the characters throughout the story, and he proved himself to be incredibly strong. And that's on top of being fleshed out as a person and given detailed character motivations.

The only problem I had was that his 4-ep duel against the Lancers was anti-climactic and predictable, and that his defeat was dumb. Other than that, he was great.
