>>33906347>All of them would be acquired by the government. Hard to argue that. No one would be more adept at catching them all than the government. No legendaries would be available, they'd just be hidden in Area 51, testing them and using them as Trump cards against other countries in wars. Although that would be fucking cool. Imagine Mewtwo taking out ISIS. Fuck, just imagine actual wars with just regular mon.
>Only the 1% would be able to own them. I have a hard time believing that. Sure, owning a mon would be expensive, and there would be some enforced regulation on who can own one under what circumstances (you don't want a schizo to be able to own a Tyranitar and run amok with it), but I don't think it would be a total exclusive right to millionaires and shit. If you account for how many of each (I guess the word is) species of mon, including region forms and excluding legendaries, and compare it to how actual pets are domesticated, you would see I think more people own a mon than not because there's so fucking many, and shit according to the animoos there are multiple legends too. What I think would be only accessible to a select few would be mega stones, Z-move crystals, and shit like Master balls and shiny charms. THATS what you would have to pay top dollar for.
