Is it okay to use genned pokemon in official tournaments? I mean, there's absolutely no difference between a well genned mon and a regular one caught in-game, but it's still making me feel guilty the idea of using genned mons in official tournaments and i don't really know why.
Can you please help me by telling me your opinion about it?

Of course it's cheating and it's wrong but it hardly makes a difference. I myself have never been in a tourney but at the end of the day you have zero advantage over the others (who likely have genned mons too). I gen and it doesn't bother me at all.

I expect everyone to use genned mons in tournaments. I honestly feel bad when I see someone with bad IV's and sometimes even natures try and compete when they are just handicapped for no real reason other than game freaks incompetence and stubbornness.

Like you either spend hundreds or thousands of hours to get the optimal mon just so you aren't at a disadvantage or you just insert it in 5 minutes. I'm surprised they haven't added microtransactions to skip the grind yet. I can see it already, Super Poke Bank Training. Lets you edit your mons within ruleset legality for a few dollars per IV roll, few dollars for locking the IV's you like when you reroll, 10 bucks for a shiny, 2 bucks to skip EV training etc. etc.

Guess them being stubborn and/or incompetent is better. Gen the mons and save yourself the headache.

Not going to get on a moral high horse as I've done both genning and legitimate breeding, but I can say getting your team the legit way feels a lot more fulfilling. The only aspect of the breeding process that takes a while is getting a decent ditto, but you only need one for all your breeding.
