How should Mythicals be handled according to you /vp/? Also what's with having a small cute thing as a mythical each generation?

Give most of them the Deoxys treatment and let them be obtainable in-game. I'm OK with having 1 per old gen and ~3 for the current gen.

Should clarify that I'm OK with keeping 1 event-only for each of the finished gens (probably Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Arceus, Victini, Hoopa, and Marshadow when Gen 7 is done).

Yup, PAL Silvally codes would be best, already have 5 Marshadow, don't need more codes.

Ofc that if you don't care about legitimacy any1 could inject you a couple for free.

Maybe here it is hard to get trades, i don't really trust any of these frogposters and Grondonfags, but there are other communities that are pretty open to it.

People may not like it, but Somogon forum and reddit subs are much better to get a trade than /vp/.

Literally problem solved and everyone is happy.
This also helps Gamefreaks sales because they can advertise every new game with a new event legandary, while still making it possible for the people that skip these games to just catch them regularly in the games after those.

Keeping this event-only status up for over 15 years is so fucking dumb.

Mythicals should be rare things that require something not normally in game to aquire, but still require stuff to get. Like Oak's Letter, Members Card, Azure Flute, the Tickets, etc.

As others have said, they definitely should be included in the games without the need for events, but as bonus content that you can find either in post-game or at any time. Some should be time gated, others should be available under specific conditions, and others should require ridiculous things.

Things like this would be perfect. Little silly minigames or methods, not just go to X and do Y. Above all else though, NO FUCKING SHINY LOCK. Same goes with legendaries.

I don’t care how complicated they make it as long as it’s not temporary. They should have learned that after gen 1. Pokemon games are endlessly replayable and missing out on an event because the small window ended is ridiculous.

They did it right with Megearna. You will be able to use that code until the end of time.

I liked how in Gen 3 pokemon had their own 'event' location, however if you picked up the games like me, you completely missed out on all the event tickets, so it was ruined for me. Was sad when Faraway Island wasn't brought back in gen 6.

They should also stop making mythical events a limited time thing.
