Switch game is gonna be so garbage.

Game freak barley survived transition to 3d and I can only imagine how rushed a Game freak console Pokemon game is

Should have fired them a long time ago, 3ds cycle was already proof they can't keep up.
I hope TPC and Nintendo are restructuring them or at least outsourcing the heavy work to another studio. This practice isn't new and Pokemon desperately needs extra hands for the switch game.

The main team is working on switch. They already had one year of development time.

The jump to switch requires a big graphic jump that might not even reach full potential until the batch after the switch games.

Also no more dual screens or backwards comp with old games unless pokebank.

They know they could make 41 and still sell. They're going to have to overhaul things over making many Pokemon for a new gen.

Sm made 81 plus forms. They might just target on more forms. They removed national dex, and there's past 800 now.

I mean, we are, but the 3DS games were objectively bad games.
There was tons of obvious rushed/removed content, whatever your thoughts on the new story focus, the story itself was poorly written, and the performance of the games would be unacceptable for literally any other title.
