They most likely will, because they aren't called "Alola forms". They're officially known as "regional variants".

Alola forms are just the ones found in Alola.

No. Alola forms or whatever you want to call them, UBs, and Z-Moves will be left in Gen 7.

If you remember Gamefreak was already hesitant about bringing back megas, they will make room for new gimmicks.

Alola forms are no different from stuff like Deoxys, Giratina-Origin, or Shaymin-Sky

They're not a "new" gimmick, they're an expansion of the alternate form gimmick that's been around since Gen 3.
